  Dr. Adam Sandford

  Naturopathic Doctor

  Dr Adam Sandford is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor in El Segundo, California. As a primary care doctor he provides wellness, acute and chronic care for patients of all ages. His practice also has a special emphasis on adrenal fatigue, men’s health and testosterone support, joint pain and discomfort, sexual and reproductive support, bioidentical and thyroid hormone replacement, as well as advanced treatments for gastrointestinal disorders (including SIBO), Parkinson’s Disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and chronic pain. Dr Sandford was led to Naturopathic Medicine following a personal experience of flagging energy, declining health, significant high blood pressure and reproductive difficulties associated with the lifestyle and stresses that came with a decade long career as a program manager in software development. In working with a naturopathic medical doctor, over time he experienced complete recovery and a noticeable and lasting improvement in general health and fitness. He has also observed through direct family experience how effectively Naturopathic treatments can help alleviate many of the side effects seen with conventional Parkinson’s treatments. Seeing the tremendous impact that focused lifestyle changes and specific supplementation can have in one person’s life led him to transition from technology to pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition from Bastyr University and his doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from NCNM, the oldest nationally accredited Naturopathic medical university in North America. His approach towards medicine is that all medical tools are valid and have their place, whether diet or drugs, exercise or surgery – the art of medicine for the Naturopathic Medical Doctor is working with each patient to help select the approach that is most right for them, for who they are today and who they want to be tomorrow.

  Dr. Danielle E. Gran is a licensed naturopathic doctor practicing in the Beach Cities. Her approach to medicine is founded on patient-centered care that utilizes the least invasive and most effective evidence-based treatment protocols. She understands that patients are more than the summation of their parts, and addresses the root cause of symptoms with individualized treatment plans that consider the many facets of each patient’s unique physical, mental, spiritual and environmental condition. Her clinical specialties include naturopathic dermatology, hormone restoration for healthy aging, and integrative women’s health including fertility and contraceptive care, PMS, irregular menses, and the menopausal transition. After seeing how an integrative approach helped one of her closest childhood friends with a debilitating diagnosis, Dr. Gran chose to study naturopathic medicine. She is motivated by her role as part of the current paradigm shift in health care—one that focuses on treating the whole patient rather than just their symptoms. Dr. Gran earned her medical degree from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, the nation’s leading naturopathic medical school. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Santa Barbara, majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biological Sciences. Since completing her formal education, she has pursued advanced training in functional endocrinology with particular interest in thyroid conditions, adrenal dysfunction and sex hormone imbalance. She is often called upon for her expertise and serves on advisory panels for local universities. Her practice utilizes clinical nutrition, lifestyle modification, and stress management as well as targeted nutrient therapy, herbal medicines and bio-identical hormone replacement. Her utilization of specialized laboratory testing in conjunction with conventional lab work allows for comprehensive understanding of the root cause of patient complaints. The benefits of this individualized and integrative approach to healthcare have led her to become a highly sought after clinician in the field of naturopathic medicine. She has been featured in numerous publications including Southbay Magazine, Organic Authority, and LA Yoga. She is excited that now more than ever patients are interested to learn about their health, and they want their doctors to participate in that education. Her patients are focused on wellness and prevention as well as natural yet effective treatment alternatives for current complaints.
